The Meliá Trinidad Peninsula Hotel was officially inaugurated on the day that the third town founded in Cuba celebrates its 510th anniversary. With this five-star tourist facility, located in one of the best preserved colonial cities in the Caribbean, the Spanish chain enters this destination from the southern center of Cuba. The ceremony was attended by Manuel Marrero, Prime Minister of Cuba; Juan Carlos García, Minister of Tourism; and Gabriel Escarrer, President and CEO of Meliá Hotels International, along with other authorities and collaborators.

The Cuban business delegation, headed by the First Deputy Minister of Communications, Wilfredo González, closed today its activities in India with new agreements reached with relevant institutions and companies in the Asian country. The representative of the Ministry of Communications (Mincom) and S. Krishna, secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in Digital Public Infrastructure.
