A productive administration contract with financing for fishing in the highlands and the cultivation of oysters in alliance with a foreign firm, is among the economic and productive projects of the Las Tunas Fishing Company, Pescatun, in the Third Industry Fair and the Commerce of this city. Denia Castillo, director of the entity, told the Cuban News Agency (ACN) that the alliance seeks to increase the company's production levels from trade in the international market, through permits to import and export productions.

  The contract guarantees improvements in Pescatun's logistical conditions, with the renewal of equipment, technical and professional advice from foreign specialists and the contracting of merchandise for clients from various countries.

  The boats we have in the province are obsolete, so we cannot exploit the peculiarities and riches of the waters as we need; The intention is to expand production levels to market fish in the domestic trade network and, to a lesser extent, international trade, said commercial specialist Karen Martí Rodríguez.

  The foreign investor told ACN that he sees strong potential in Las Tunas, especially for the production and marketing of oysters and snappers, so his company's collaboration will be aimed at financing, technological assistance and even food. for the breeding and conservation of fish.

  Pescatun participates for the third time in the Las Tunas Fair but it is the first time that it does so with its own internet platform from where it also consolidates itself in the sales of fish and derived products for Las Tunas residents and clients from other latitudes.
