As part of a promotional tour in Mexico, executives of the Hotel Nacional de Cuba presented in Cancun the novelties and offers of the facility, the flagship of accommodation on the Caribbean island.

The presentation was given by Luis Miguel Díaz Sánchez, General Manager of the hotel, and was attended by Amilkar Sánchez, Vice Consul of Cuba in Cancún.
The group, invited by the tour operators Viajes Bojorquez, Enjoy Cuba, and in coordination with the Cuban embassy in the Aztec nation, has already held other previous exhibitions in Mexico City and Mérida, with the participation of more than 50 travel agencies, operators and press media.

The Caribbean nation, which received a total of 356,453 international visitors in 2021, has Mexico among the top 20 issuing markets, with almost 3,000 Mexican tourists who travelled to the Caribbean country last year.

The increase in travellers from Mexico to Cuba in recent months is due to the increase in air connectivity between the two countries, through the airlines Viva Aerobús, Magnicharter and Aeromar.
