Under the motto of Integrate and transform to grow, from June 7 to 14, the II Cuba 2022 Economic-Productive Conference will be held from the capital, virtual at the national level and with international visibility, according to the Organizing Commission.

Planned as part of the activities for the 43rd anniversary of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC), and with the Chamber of Commerce and the Tryp Habana Libre hotel as its main venues, the event includes face-to-face territorial events conducive to carrying out encounters with economic actors of all forms of management and ownership.

The program also includes panels, workshops, exchanges between importing companies and forms of non-state management, as well as with ministers from various agencies and the presentation of new products, services and innovations.

In addition to the Chamber of Commerce and the ANEC, the Ministries of Economy and Planning and of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, among others, participate in its organization.

Precisely, contributing to the productive chain for exports, import substitution and foreign investment and visualizing the positive examples, are among the objectives of the II Economic-Productive Conference Cuba 2022.

It is also intended to create spaces for discussion and analysis that describe the current economic scenario from practice, and identify the potentialities, opportunities and obstacles that arise in the economy and proposals for their solutions, even with the facilities granted to companies.

Other purposes are to promote the use of digital platforms for the promotion, knowledge and negotiation between the different actors, including electronic commerce, and to promote an inter-institutional dialogue that favors productive transformation, chaining and the international insertion of Cuban companies.

On Tuesday the 14th, at the closing ceremony, ANEC will deliver the Economic-Productive Management Awards to entities with relevant results during the 2021-2022 period, in the categories of production of goods and services.

We have the experience of the first day and we trust that this edition will have a higher qualitative impact”, assured Santiago Burey Pérez, deputy head of the Economic-Productive Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, in the recent presentation of the call for the event.
