The source stressed that Cuba offers treatments for cancer, diabetic foot ulcers, vitiligo, retinitis pigmentosa, drug detoxification, and attention to injuries in high-performance athletes, among others. Regarding the perspectives, he referred to foreign investments in thermal centers, to connecting the Caribbean and using Cuba as a medical center in the region, and to the First International Medical Tourism Fair in October. In FITCuba 2022 alliances were established with several hotel groups to achieve an increasingly harmonious, sustainable, inclusive, accessible and safe tourism.
