Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel attends today the inauguration of the Cuba-Mexico Business Forum 2022, a space that will facilitate bilateral meetings on economic, commercial and investment issues, and will expand mutual relations.

The inauguration of the event is in charge of the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba Antonio Luis Carricarte, and also has the presence of the Prime Minister of the island, Manuel Marrero, and the Undersecretary of Industry and Commerce of the Ministry of Economy of Mexico, Hector Guerrero.

On this first day there will be an update on the Cuban economy and the Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (Mincex) Rodrigo Marmierca will make a presentation on foreign investment in Cuba, as well as business opportunities, the exportable supply, and a assessment of trade relations with the Aztec nation.

In addition, other business opportunities in the agri-food sector will be shown and the first deputy minister of the Mincex, Ana Teresita Gonzalez, will make the presentation of the 38th edition of the International Fair of Havana FIhav 2022.

For two days at the National Hotel, Mexican and Cuban companies will discuss the agri-food, logistics, tourism, biotechnological and pharmaceutical industries, renewable energies and culture.
