The decision was announced for Cuba to host the tenth edition of EXPOALADI, in 2023. The island was unanimously elected in the Ordinary Session of the Committee of Representatives of the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI), which resides in Uruguay.
EXPOALADI is the maximum commercial promotion event of the Association. It constitutes a space aimed at increasing and strengthening trade between its member countries; to enhance the opportunities for companies to grow and increase their participation in the regional market, in particular MSMEs, favoring the dissemination of the exportable offer and the best use of the commercial opportunities that emanate from the agreements signed within the scope of the Association .
Since 2020, as a result of the international context caused by the pandemic, the meetings of this regional organization have been held virtually.
Companies from the 13 ALADI member countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela) traditionally participate in EXPOALADI, as well as invited buyers from Central American and the Caribbean, non-members.
