Cuba highlights safety and health as pillars of tourism

Regarding the confidence of the companies and entities that form part of the sphere in the world, García Granda commented that Spain is currently the European country with the most flights and frequencies to Cuba, with Iberia, Air Europa, Wamos, Plus Ultra, World2Fly, Evelop (Iberojet) and Cubana de Aviación.
In total there are 57 frequencies, from 20 sending nations, and 70 international airlines connected to the Caribbean island.
Elaborating on the matter, he said that priority is given to requests from various markets, including Mexico, Panama and the Dominican Republic; Turkish Airlines is a bridge to Asia and the Pacific area, and Russia is still very interested and plans to expand its destinations.
“Despite the campaigns that insist on distorting our reality, I invite you to visit us and see for yourselves. We are a safe, vaccinated, supportive country with a lot to offer for healthy tourism, nature, heritage, culture and beaches,” said the Cuban Tourism Minister.
