The Meliá Trinidad Peninsula Hotel was officially inaugurated on the day that the third town founded in Cuba celebrates its 510th anniversary. With this five-star tourist facility, located in one of the best preserved colonial cities in the Caribbean, the Spanish chain enters this destination from the southern center of Cuba. The ceremony was attended by Manuel Marrero, Prime Minister of Cuba; Juan Carlos García, Minister of Tourism; and Gabriel Escarrer, President and CEO of Meliá Hotels International, along with other authorities and collaborators.
